Time for your annual meeting?

Many companies (LLCs or Corporations) have bylaws or operating agreements that specify a due date for their annual meeting. Typically the window is from the end of the financial year to 4 or 5 months after the end of the fiscal year. If you are not sure what needs ot be documented in the minutes for the meeting, contact the minutes and resolutions people at Your Entity Solution, LLC, or visit their site for more information.

GoZone Information

You might want to check the details of the Go Zone in the IRS publication 4492. you can download it at IRS.gov. I'm not sure if each state has different time lines, but the tax incentive will only be available on new construction PUT IN USE for the first time by the end of 2008 in Texas. Be sure to check with your tax professional to be sure your property will qualify. Don't forget to protect your liability by setting up an LLC properly.
